CAD/Drafting Technology
The CAD/Drafting Technology program at Anthem Institute teaches you the necessary skills to perform both manual and computer-aided (AutoCAD) drafting. You will become proficient in a variety of areas: 2D and 3D drawing; residential, roadway, and light commercial drafting; residential, commercial, and structural detailing; and structural steel drawing.
You can graduate from this program with the ability to take a concept or idea for a construction project and put it into a drawing. Your drawing is essentially used as a visual guideline for how the project should be completed. You could design items ranging from toys and DVD players to bridges and skyscrapers.
