The AmeriTech Nursing Program is also approved by the Utah State Board of Nursing for operation within the State of Utah. As of December 10, 2008 the Nursing Program has been assigned probationary approval from the Utah State Board of Nursing. Probationary approval allows graduates to sit for the NCLEX exam and obtain licensure as a Nurse in the State of Utah. As a condition for probationary approval by the Utah State Board of Nursing, AmeriTech College must obtain programmatic accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) by March 2011 (in addition to its current institutional accreditation through ABHES).
